McManus & Associates, Ltd. was incorporated on May 2, 1985 and has been engaged in the practice of law representing people seriously injured in all forms of accidents.  The firm has always confined it's practice to representation of plaintiffs, injured persons, and has never represented insurance companies, employers or other defendants.  The bulk of the firm's practice takes place in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.  On occasion the firm takes on other cases outside the state of Illinois on a selected basis.

The cases primarily handled include but are not limited to automobile accidents, construction accidents, elevator accidents, railroad accidents and premises liability claims.  The firm also handles cases involving victims of medical malpractice as well as persons who are seriously injured as a result of dangerous and poorly designed products.

Finally, the firm's concentration also includes the representation of seriously injured workers at the Industrial Commission in all forms of work-related accidents.
